Ever been to a Christmas Market?

Lights, snow, Christmas trees, and decorations are all a part of the Christmas magic. And we know some of the best places to experience it. Christmas markets have always been a tradition in Europe, but now they are becoming a tradition in Canada as well. There are several markets for you to experience the holiday cheer.

The Distillery Winter Village

With a 55-foot tree as the centerpiece, this winter village is set in the Distillery District’s cobblestone streets. Be sure to get your tickets before they are sold out so you can enjoy the district's shops, restaurants, and cafes, and carolers!

Quebec German Christmas Market

Looking to escape to another country without actually leaving Canada? Then you should check out the Quebec German Christmas Market. It is complete with bratwurst, mulled wine, gingerbread, and more. Located in Old Quebec, it is designed to recreate an actual German market as close as possible. And admission is free!

Vancouver Christmas Market

The Vancouver Christmas Market is so special because it brings the Old World tradition of Christkindlmarkts to Vancouver. Check it out for an authentic German feel complete with a European-inspired Christmas village! There is something for all ages at this market from a Christmas carousel to a walk-in Christmas tree that includes more than 30,000 lights.

We hope you have time to check out these wonderful holiday markets to help you get in the Christmas spirit.
